Most of our work comes from patients recommending us to their friends and family. We are pretty good at what we do. We aren't the only ones who think so either!
Answering your questions
It goes without saying that before you get new dentures that you want to gather all the necessary information to help you make the right decision. The information below will help you to address your concerns and questions.
Q: How long does it take to make new dentures?
A: Mark needs to see you 5-6 times and we provide an appointment once a week so the timescale is usually 6 weeks maybe longer depending on what you need. In some circumstances they can be produced quicker.
Q: How much will my new dentures cost?
A: We will give you a free consultation and full quote that includes all your treatment appointments, This quote also includes any subsequent adjustments up to 6 months after your first appointment. So NO nasty surprises!
Q: Are my dentures made in Australia?
A: Absolutely. All materials are sourced here and if unavailable then we have suppliers in Germany. All our lab work is produced here in WA by Mark, not sent overseas on the cheap. This guarantees the materials and workmanship are to Australian standards and meet our own very high standards!
Q: What are relines?
A: When your dentures are two and a half to three years old they do not fit as well as they did when they were new, relining makes the fitting surface like new so this stops your denture moving around and making you sore. It stops food getting underneath and helps to prevent repairs.
Q: I need a repair how long do I have to wait and how much will it cost?
A: It depends on what you need but most can be fixed in our onsite lab by Mark on the same day and often within 3-4 hours. We always tell you what the cost is before we start, if you have a health fund we do our best to do the work rebate only as long as our costs are covered. If your denture keeps breaking it is usually because they no longer fit like they did and you may not notice this change over a long period of time.
Q: Can I claim from my health fund?
A: Yes! We have HICAPS so we can give you a quote and tell you exactly what your gap is BEFORE treatment. We are preferred providers with HBF and a selected Medibank Members' Choice Provider. We accept most major credit cards.
Q: Can you clean my old dentures?
A: Yes! Sometimes calculus builds up on dentures an can be unsightly, we can sandblast and polish them back to life. Some stains from medication, food and drink are harder to remove but pop in and we will see what we can do! If you have a health fund card we can use that as payment and even chuck in some free Caldent denture cleaner- which is made in Australia of course!
